You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser….We havent heard a collection of songs from Utahs Adam and Darcie since the summer of 2009 but the wait has been worth it. Not many artists can do soothing melodies quite like Adam Darcie not that they are laidback in their arrangements as each song here has a beautifully delicate and intricate detail.

I like that this sound is different from all the stuff out there right now. Clear and uncomplicated harmonies with a natural acoustic sound that has a nostalgic almost retro quality.

Not many artists can do soothing melodies quite like Adam Darcie not that they are laidback in their arrangements as each song here has a beautifully delicate and intricate detail. Its only been in the past couple of years that weve come to really appreciate the political significance and timeless beauty of their work as weve revisited it.

Facial hair it turns out was only one of the reasons he wanted to put out their music…Dunphy runs –originally a download-only label–which released the Boise bands newest CD A Year With The Very Most both digitally as well as the labels second physical offering…Yes some of do have beards the prevailing facial appellation of the indie music set. The Very Most with frontman Jeremy Jensen at the hairy head has a knack for creating sweet addictive indie pop…Thirty-three-year-old Jensen began making music under the moniker TVM in around 2002 employing a semi-rotating cast of musicians to play with him… Its funny to think about that he says. Knowing an extensive touring schedule wasnt in the cards Jensen got creative–and tenacious–about introducing The Very Most to a broader audience…With TVMs second record Congratulations Forever as a marvelous example of their shiny mirthful indie-pop Jensen began farming TVMs tunes out to music blogs everywhere… I began shopping some of our songs around to mp3 blogs because that seems to be the way to get some–for lack of a better word–buzz about a band Jensen said.
