Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't you sell CD's anymore?
We remember CDs. That was a really cool technology. Do you remember breathing on them and wiping it on your shirt when it skipped. Nostalgia.
Don't MP3s have totally bummer sound quality?
Sure, but so do CDs. All digital audio loses a great deal of fidelity from the original source recordings, but our MP3s are professionally encoded and sound pretty ridiculously good. Unless you're rocking a $1,000+ sound system you'll probably not hear a difference over CDs.
How do I get my MP3s when I buy them?
After PayPal completes your order it'll direct you to a download page. If this fails, you'll get an email with a specialized link to your downloads.
Will you sign my band?
Quick answer: Probably not. Longer answer: We're not a record label as much as a collective of 10 friends who pull our resources to help each other out. But feel free to send us an email if you want to talk about the music biz.
I want to book one of your bands. Who do I contact?
You're going to want to email Carl. He's a great bass player, skilled toy-maker and an even better booking guy. Here's his email: carl (at) villageten (dot) com.
Again, why won't you sign my band?
We're not a record label. We're just 10 friends doing what we love doing. Plus, do you really want a label?
Can I sign one of your bands?
Perhaps. Email us at info (at) villageten (dot) com.
