Why should I buy from Village Ten rather than iTunes?
When you buy from Village Ten, your money goes directly into the hands of the artists, and not to some distant corporation who takes a cut of the profit. Village Ten is an artist collective created and operated by the artists themselves, and your direct support helps them continue to make great music.
How do I receive my music from Village Ten?
After your payment has been confirmed by PayPal, you will immediately receive an email containing your specialized links to download your music. It usually takes less than a minute after checkout for this email to arrive in your inbox. Once you receive the email, you'll have 14 days to download your music before the specialized links expire.
Why can't I order a physical CD?
We lack a common warehouse and shipping crew to fulfill physical orders. If the artist has physical CDs available at CD Baby, a link will appear directly below the Purchase section. Otherwise, you can contact the artists directly to ask for the best method to get a CD.
Do you offer an alternative to MP3?
Not at this time. We chose MP3 due to it's compatibility with a majority of playback devices. We feel confident that our MP3's are encoded professionally, and maintain a sonic fidelity approved by our artists.
